Experience: Gramercy Tavern, nyc

🏋🏽‍♀️ I’ve lived in the city for a long time, yet never made it to Gramercy Tavern. We finally stopped by on Saturday after a full day of working out - meaning I got to order the famous Tavern burger guilt free 😏

🍔 The burger was delightfully juicy, with just the right amount of cheese and bacon to give it added flavor. The big surprise for me was the duck fat chips: I thought they would be thick and heavy, but they were the complete opposite: air-light, full of flavor, and not oily in the slightest.

🍷 I paired the burger with a glass of Canopus ‘Malbec De Sed’ 2022 from Mendoza - aged in concrete tanks, this wine was fresh and spicy, with jammy dark fruit notes that were just begging to be paired with a burger.
